Daughter Kelly Reveals Ozzy’s Darkest Moment In Upcoming Tell-All

The Osbourne family has been to hell and back, especially in recent months and years; thankfully, they’ve always emerged on the other side stronger than before though according to daughter Kelly, there was a period where the Osbournes very nearly didn’t make it. In her upcoming tell-all There Is No F*cking Secret: Letters From A Badass B*tch, Kelly sheds light on her mother Sharon’s 2002 battle with colon cancer and the effect it had on her family, specifically her brother Jack and father, Ozzy.

Jack, then a teenager, suffered from severe depression stemming from his mother’s condition and attempted suicide; Ozzy, distraught and unable to cope with the very real possibility of facing a life without Sharon, suffered a near fatal overdose of prescription pills washed down with vodka as Sharon was being rushed to the emergency room after suffering a seizure as a result of cancer treatments.

Kelly recalls that when she ran to tell her father they needed to go to the hospital, “Dad was there in his boxers, and I watched him scoop his hands into a bowl of pills, swallow a handful of something, and then wash it down with vodka.”

Later in the ambulance, “he leaned over to put his hand out to see if mum was breathing. Then he passed out with his hand over her mouth . . . The EMTs tried to pull him off, and Dad, not knowing where he was or what he was doing, started to resist out of habit. They pulled over the ambulance and started to call the police.”

Ozzy was restrained in the ambulance and upon arrival at the hospital, was treated for a drug overdose and alcohol poisoning while Sharon received care nearby. Not wanting to live without Sharon, Ozzy continued to struggle throughout his wife’s battle with cancer as well as through parts of her recovery and wholeheartedly admits that he “fell apart”.

Thankfully, Sharon is cancer free as of 2017 and Ozzy, currently seeking treatment for sex addiction, has stayed clean and sober as of late – love ’em or hate ’em, we need these two around for a good long while!
